In June the monthly average value of the U.S. dollar (USD) appreciated versus Canada’s
“loonie” (+2.0%), euro (+1.2%) and yen (+0.3%). On a trade-weighted index
basis, the USD gained 1.6% against a basket of 26 currencies.
