In
March the monthly average value of the U.S. dollar (USD) appreciated versus Canada’s
“loonie” (+2.7%), was essentially unchanged against the euro (%), and depreciated
against the yen (-1.8%). On a trade-weighted index basis, the USD strengthened
by 0.4% versus a basket of 26 currencies.
