In
January the monthly average value of the U.S. dollar (USD) depreciated versus Canada’s
“loonie” (-1.0%), euro (-0.3%) and yen (-2.9%). On a trade-weighted index
basis, the USD lost 1.3% against a basket of 26 currencies.
