In
April the monthly average value of the U.S. dollar (USD) appreciated versus Canada’s
“loonie” (+0.6%), euro (+1.6%) and yen (+0.1%). On the broad trade-weighted
index basis (goods and services), the USD gained 1.9% against a basket of 26
currencies.
