In
May the monthly average value of the U.S. dollar (USD) appreciated versus Canada’s
“loonie” (+0.6%) and the euro (+0.4%) but depreciated against the yen (-1.5%). On a
trade-weighted index basis, the USD gained 1.1% against a basket of 26
currencies.
