of $945.7 billion -- the highest level since March 2009. The increase derived almost
entirely from a $3.8 billion (1.2 percent) rise in private nonresidential spending.
Public construction spending ticked up by $0.1 billion (0.1 percent) while the
private residential component fell by $2.9 billion (0.8 percent).
