In
February the monthly average value of the U.S. dollar again depreciated against
all three major currencies we track. The greenback retreated by 0.6% against
Canada’s “loonie,” 0.2% against the euro and 1.6% against the yen. On a
trade-weighted index basis, the dollar weakened by 1.4% against a basket of 26
currencies.
