Overall
construction spending
in the United States fell by 0.3% during November (against expectations of a 0.4%
increase),
to a seasonally adjusted and annualized rate (SAAR) of $975.0 billion. The public
construction category led the decrease on both absolute ($4.7 billion) and
percentage (-1.7%) terms.
